On April 30, 2025, two people in Red Springs, NC, reported a transparent cube-shaped UFO, roughly the size of a small car. The object hovered about 90° overhead, with visible lights and a faint shimmering outline—so see-through that the night sky appeared just beyond it. It silently drifted a few hundred feet before darting across a nearby field and dropping straight downward. Dogs were barking, yet there was no wind or engine noise, and the object disappeared in seconds. The neighbors confirmed both their sighting and no other aircraft were present.
